Summary: We are looking for multiple Cyber Security positions at all different levels (junior, mid, senior) to support a 10 year contract with DXC at USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB in Bellevue Nebraska. You will be brought on as a contractor through Modis for the first six months and then transition for a direct employee of DXC.

Top skills need to submit:

  • 4-10 years of combined IT and Security subject matter knowledge, including security technologies, theories, or techniques (such as security frameworks and methodologies).

The ITCC Senior Cybersecurity/Information Assurance/Security Specialist, is a recognized authority on relevant IT Security subject matter knowledge, including security technologies, theories, or techniques (such as security frameworks and methodologies). Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Responsible for providing system network defense techniques using USSTRATCOM directed technologies and processes; including, but not limited to monitoring of intrusion detection system and other CND tools, incident response, patching CND tools, and rapid recon. Proactively monitors vendor and DoD IA notices and reports results. Utilizes established shift schedule to support 24×7 network defense operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10+ years relevant industry experience
  • Experience working with federal regulations related to information security (FISMA, Computer security Act, etc.)
  • Experience working with NIST Special Publications or related publications and the C & A process methodology
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Possess a CISSP, CISSA, or CEH
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Support the utility operations team with direct support for scheduling, entering customer information, documenting work and providing support for the team.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:  Operations Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Schedule daily work for service and operational employees and/or crews through scheduling tools (click).
  • Monitor scheduling tools and provide support to Operations Supervisors with scheduling employees for PTO, training and appointments.
  • Provide support for updating schedules on company intranet sites and community emergency plans.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Gas Scheduler provides transactional analysis and scheduling, working with the Sr. Manager, Gas Supply and Trading to optimize and accurately provide activities on pipelines in support of the organization.  Understands the basic movement of natural gas, knowledge of electronic bulletin boards, and internal tracking systems, and is capable of tracking transactions from inception to month end. 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:    Sr. Manager, Gas Supply

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Works closely with Sr. Manager, Gas Supply to ensure all pipeline scheduling is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicates with our suppliers and markets to ensure that contractual nomination data is coordinated properly and resolves all discrepancies in a timely fashion.
  • Schedules gas on inter/intrastate pipeline EBB systems.
  • Solid understanding of all company transportation and storage contracts and rights.
  • Works with suppliers, purchasers, pipelines and point operators to monitor and minimize imbalances.  When imbalances occur, works within pipeline and LDC guidelines to reduce, eliminate, or trade those imbalances in the manor most advantageous to the company.
  • Performs end of month closing tasks including actualization of pipes/trades in Endur. Interacts closely with internal accounting and third parties to help resolve any discrepancies that arise in monthly settlement.
  • Monitor pipeline bulletin boards (EBBs) for both critical and non-critical notices and relays these to the team.
  • Provide backup to trader as necessary.
  • Participate in weekend and evening on-call coverage as needed.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Scheduling experience on a variety of EBB’s.  TIGT, NGPL, NNG preferred.
  • Microsoft Office products (especially Excel).

  • Planning, organization, problem solving and analytical skills are important.
  • Team player.
