KBR- Terminal Supervisor (International)

Terminal Services Supervisor will provide supervisory oversight of Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services (ATGHS) for Air Mobility Command at Abdullah Al Mubarak Airbase/ Kuwait International Airport. This position will supervise air transportation and ground handling activities associated with the marshaling of aircraft owned or operated by the U.S., Sponsored Foreign Governments, Coalition Forces and Commercial Contractors in accordance with the Air Terminal policies and regulatory requirements at the Kuwait International Airport.

This position will supervise an operation that provides an Air Mobility Control Center, transient alert aircraft services, passenger screening, documentation, baggage and lost baggage handling. It is also responsible for maintenance and operation of ground support equipment, loading and off-loading of cargo, and handling of special shipments, such as vehicles, and hazardous materials and fluids.

  • Establish procedures for and manage the loading of passengers, vehicles, equipment, mail, cargo and the airlift and airdrop activities. Inspect airlift activities for compliance and recommend corrective action.
  • Supervise use of material handling equipment and manage the Equipment Maintenance Section to ensure equipment is fully mission-capable to support the mission requirements.
  • Justify personnel, allocate equipment, and determine supplies and facilities required to accomplish the mission.
  • Conduct personnel and equipment management surveys, and provide technical assistance as required.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports
  • Assign Transportation Control Numbers to all cargo to ensure that the tracking of cargo is as accurate as possible, assign Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags to cargo for tracking purposes and use a variety of In-Transit Visibility (ITV) media systems such as GATES.
  • May be required to perform other job related tasks and duties as mission dictates.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have experience managing an Air Mobility Command and Control office with ATOC and C2 Personnel.
  • Candidate must possess general knowledge and understanding of appropriate Air Force Instructions and Army Manuals as they relate to Aerial Port mission requirements and be able to implement same.
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task, and be able to work in a high-stress environment while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
  • Must have High school diploma.
  • College degree preferred with a minimum of 9-12 years of experience with the Aerial Port mission.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance.

KBR- Weather Forecaster (International)

Investigate atmospheric phenomena and interpret meteorological data gathered by surface and air stations, satellites, and radar to prepare reports and forecasts for public and other uses. Collect and analyze historical climate information such as precipitation and temperature records in order to help predict future weather and climate trends. Conduct basic or applied meteorological research into the processes and determinants of atmospheric phenomena, weather, and climate. Gather data from sources such as surface and upper air stations, satellites, weather bureaus, and radar for use in meteorological reports and forecasts. Prepare forecasts and briefings to meet the needs of industry, business, government, and other groups. Study and interpret data, reports, maps, photographs, and charts to predict long- and short-range weather conditions, using computer models and knowledge of climate theory, physics, and mathematics. Undergraduate degree in related field with 2-4 years of related experience preferred.

KBR- Transient Alert (International)

Candidate shall perform efforts of some or all listed below:

 

Transient Aircraft Services for Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft

  • Transient Aircraft Management (services to include by not limited to: prepare and document AF Forms 861, base/transit job control number register, coordinate parking location for transient aircraft parking outside transient ramp, retrieve all drag chutes from runway and taxiways when requested, coordinate with petroleum, oil & lubricants (POL), for fuel delivery as required, coordinate maintenance or service requirements with the MOC, removal of foreign objects, etc)
  • Arrival Services (services to include but not limited to: meet transient aircraft upon arrival in “Follow Me” vehicle, operate support equipment, check for hot brakes and report suspected hot brakes to the MOC, install nose and/or main landing gear locks and pins as required,       install egress and safing pins as required, insert wheel chocks, statically ground all aircraft if grounding points are available, tow, position, connect and operate AGE equipment, etc)
  • Processing Services (services to include by not limited to: check and service aircraft engine oil as required, operate, check and service liquid or gaseous oxygen, nitrogen, hydraulics, fuels and oil systems as required, perform general walk-around inspection of the aircraft, secure/bed-down aircraft that remain overnight, check tires and struts for condition as required, etc)
  • Departure Services (services to include by not limited to: brief the aircraft commander on the condition of the aircraft, launch aircraft in-accordance-with applicable checklist to include marshalling the aircraft out of the parking spot, provide “Follow Me” service as directed, etc)
  • Specific Job Requirements:       Must possess Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe or Powerplant license, and/or present documented military experience and qualification on DD Form 214 in Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 2A3X3, 2A5X1, 2A5X2, 2A6X1, 2A6X2, 2A7X3 or equivalent Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) used by the US Army or US Marines, or US Navy equivalent. Qualification in AFSC 1A2X1 or equivalent MOS also considered.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance.

KBR- ATOC Controller (International)

Responsible for Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC) and oversees Aircraft and Passenger Service operations. Monitors originating, terminating, or transiting aircraft missions, relays mission information and ensures readiness of terminal resources required to receive, document, plan/load-plan, and move passengers, cargo, and mail ensuring maximum aircraft utilization and on-time aircraft departure. Provides relevant briefings and associated documentation to aircrew, maintains ATOC events log, coordinates with Air Traffic Control to facilitate airfield operations to include Prior Permission Required (PPR) requests, airfield and ATC advisories and restrictions, updates, publishes, and provides advance and daily mission schedules, notifies appropriate Airlift Control Center of aircraft landing, block-in, block-out, and take-off times.

Specific Job Requirements:

  • Must be US Citizens with /or ability to obtain US Secret clearance, and have minimum 8-years documented experience in military Air Terminal Operations with experience in ATOC.
  • Journeyman knowledge of applicable AMC policy and regulations, the Integrated Data Environment (IDE), Global Transportation Network (GTN), and Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES).
  • Current certification for Air Mobility Command (AMC), Command & Control Course preferred.
  • Current certification for Transportation of Hazardous Materials Preparer’s Course or Air Transportation of Hazardous Materials Inspectors Course preferred.
  • Current certification for Aircraft Load Planning Course preferred.
  • Current certification for Air Mobility Command Joint Inspection Course preferred.
  • Previous completion of the basic air transportation course and award of Air Force Specialty Code 2T251 or equivalent preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities: The Alternate COMSEC Manager is responsible for the receipt custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting for and the destruction of COMSEC material in accordance with NSA CSS Policy Manual 3-16.  Responsible for the maintenance of up-to-date records and the submission of all required accounting reports.  Contractor will assist the Primary COMSEC Manager and providing continuity of operations in the Primary Manager’s absence. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally to customers on all levels.  Work is during dayshift and 40 hours a week with overtime only when required by the mission.

Required Qualifications: * Minimum of two years’ experience in supporting COMSEC activities. * Able to lift material weighing up to 50 pounds * U.S. Citizenship is required with an Active Secret Clearance

* Ability to train and coordinate with customers.

* Current U.S. Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of AN/CYZ-10, AN/PYQ-10, Secure Telephone Equipment (STE), Black Key, DMD Computer Software, DIAS accounting and Microsoft Software.
