The Electrical Engineer for FourFront Design is an experienced engineer who can define a project, develop a set of tasks to accomplish the project, coordinate and monitor the work involved in the tasks, and deliver a final product on time and within prescribed budget. This individual must have a general understanding of all electrical systems including facility power, electrical distribution, lighting and special systems ideally in commercial, healthcare, educational, and federal facilities.
This position is responsible for recording financial transactions, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, posting information to accounting journals from source documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers. Position may also assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.

 

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Assess the requirements of the client’s needs; manage the design and production aspects of the project.
  2. Function as the electrical project manager and/or electrical project engineer; responsible for design, planning, organizing and directing the activities of EE for FourFront projects.
  3. Develop and maintain design standards that coordinate with current company standards. Responsible for management of electrical design Quality Control procedures.
  4. Promote and provide expertise in sustainable design practices as required by the project.
  5. Review design and construction budgets and schedules, manage work accordingly.
  6. Determine electrical design and project scope, budget and staffing requirements.
  7. Knowledge of applicable codes and ordnances. Work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
  8. Assign and review work where required and provide coordination with multiple disciplines.
  9. Provide construction administrative reviews, application for payment reviews, prompt reports and required coordination.
  10. Interpret the intent of electrical contract drawings and specifications for the Client, General Contractor, Building Inspector and other interested parties.
  11. Prepare and distribute schedules, shop drawings and samples.
  12. Responsible for the accuracy and quality of all technical work.
  13. Participates in the preparation of proposals.
  14. Reviews contracts, invoices, and other project documentation before distribution to the client.
  15. Coordinates work of outside consultants in the area of electrical engineering.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  1. Minimum of 5 years previous electrical design experience.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  3. Professional Engineering license required. Willingness to apply for additional licensure when appropriate and/or required for work the region.
  4. Enough knowledge of LEED principles to become LEED accredited.
  1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP required; Visual-3D helpful.
  2. Thorough command of software applications including Microsoft Office
  3. Strong organizational skills and temperament to work effectively and accurately to meet deadlines.

 

Organizational Relationships:

The Electrical Engineer reports the Design Department Lead.

Interaction and coordination with senior leadership, project managers, and technical staff required.

Interaction with community and client representatives.

This position does not supervise subordinate staff.

Summary /Objective

This position functions under the direction of the Mechanical / Electrical Department Manager and is required to manage multiple projects.

The Mechanical Engineer for FourFront Design is an experienced engineer who can define a project, develop a set of tasks to accomplish the project, coordinate and monitor the work involved in the tasks and deliver a final product on time and within prescribed budget. He/she must have a general understanding of all mechanical systems including plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and temperature controls.  Candidate will have oversight and management of this discipline of work as well as responsibility for coordination with other disciplines associated with each specific project.  The position responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to; preliminary designs, sustainable design criteria, LEED compliance, project budgeting and construction cost estimating, presentations, plan and specification generation, bidding and construction administration responsibilities.

Essential Functions

Summary /Objective
Plan and execute the communications of FourFront Design to promote, brand, present, and market the firm to the public, current and potential clients, business relationships, and employees. Responsibilities are inclusive of verbal, written and electronic media.

Essential Functions

  1. Work with leadership and design team to create written proposals and presentations in response to Requests for Proposals or other lead sources. Proposals will present the firms capabilities, experiences, and capacity to meet potential client design and build requirements. Develop a consistent, accurate, and well-planned proposal structure that helps establish a consistent format meeting the FourFront brand, while also establishing flexibility to allow each proposal to address a client’s specific requirements.
  2. Coordinate initial proposal meetings, layout content, write and edit content to meet specifications.
  3. Develop and maintain prospect logs and contact sheets to assure all leads are managed and have greatest potential to develop into design projects. Assist in interview rehearsals and set-up.
  4. Lead and facilitate presentation preparation, development of graphics, supporting documentation, and logistics.
  5. Gathers and maintains professional resumes/biographies for design and key leadership staff for use in marketing firm.
  6. Performs graphic design duties to edit photos, develop graphics, and create company collateral materials such as brochures, flyers, invitations, display graphics and graphic presentations.
  7. Creates and maintains social media presence of the firm, including website, measurements such as click counts and site visits; and coordinates postings.
  8. Issues press releases to applicable media.
  9. Coordinates sponsorships, participation in community and industry trade shows, conferences, and company-sponsored events.

Summary /Objective
This position is responsible for recording financial transactions, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, posting information to accounting journals from source documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers. Position may also assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Review all incoming invoices, bills and vouchers for accuracy and obtain appropriate manager approval for processing and recording.
  2. Process accounts payable by creating AP Vouchers within the company’s accounting software system, recording debits and credits to correct General Ledger accounts.
  3. Generate check disbursement, obtain approval from Controller, print check from accounting system, and secure authorized signature. Mail or deliver payments to intended recipients.
  4. Reconcile AP invoices for travel accounts, company credit cards, vendor purchase cards, assuring receipts and statements balance and are correctly documented.
  5. Verify front office cash box.
  6. Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
  2. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the Deltek Vision® accounting software package.
  3. Ability to work within automated accounting software systems, with ability to learn and utilize new technologies proficiently; must be able to work proficiently in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook;
