Good Samaritan Society Echo Ridge – Medication Aide – Night Shift (Rapid City)
Medication Aide (night shift) at Assisted Living. HS Diploma or GED required. No experience needed.
We currently have Medication Aide openings for full-time night shift (9:30 pm – 7:30 am). High school diploma or GED required. We will provide the education, on-the-job training, and testing needed to become Medication Aide certified by the State of SD. The night shift Medication Aide is generally scheduled 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next week. Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. Starting wages range from $11.00 to $11.85 per hour depending on experience (slightly reduced until Medication Aide certified). An additional $1 per hour shift differential is paid when working night shift.
Medication Aides are a critical part of our Assisted Living care provider team. In addition to passing medications, the Medication Aide is responsible for various duties including laundry, common room cleaning, setting up meals, dishes, building security, handling emergencies, and some personal cares. This can be a physically demanding job, requiring frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and walking.
