Position Title: Director of Partnership Development (Remote)

Position Summary:

LearningCounts is seeking a knowledgeable and capable salesperson with a proven track record of successfully selling higher education services or products, who can work independently and with CAEL’s LearningCounts team to market, sell, and deliver products to higher education institutions, systems, and higher education associations. He/She must be focused on specific revenue, operational, and strategic goals, as well as the overall success of the LearningCounts service.

  • Identify strategies and tactics to further the LearningCounts service, including cold and warm calling to create leads
  • Contact former and prospective CAEL clients regarding possible purchase of LearningCounts product offerings
  • Utilize well-established relationships with senior academic leaders to generate new leads
  • Manager academic partners including: Contract signing/renewal, Relationship building and client satisfaction and maintenance; and Upsell CAEL’s services when appropriate
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and client retention quotas
  • Manage incoming leads and inquiries including tracking all sales activities in CAEL’s CRM
  • Present at local, regional, and national conferences and other meetings to raise awareness of LearningCounts
  • Work with marketing in development of new sales materials to generate new leads
  • Manage lead and pipeline reporting to Vice President of Higher Education on a weekly and monthly basis
  • 20-50% Travel Required

Education Requirement:

  • Master’s degree required
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in postsecondary institution or related setting required
  • Minimum of five years’ experience with direct sales
  • Familiarity with Prior Learning Assessment preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent online presentation skills-GoToMeeting; Adobe Connect
  • Ability to develop and close business with colleges, universities, and higher education associations
  • Desire to exceed expectations and show initiative and creativity
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
