Flint Hills Resources is seeking that person who is motivated, self-driven and wanting to join the Human Resources team at our Pine Bend Oil Refinery location in Rosemount, Minnesota.  As Recruiting Assistant you will be an assistant to the recruiting team supporting the recruiting process. You will develop expertise with our applicant tracking system and become proficient in scheduling, applicant communications and pre-employment administrative steps.  You will support and collaborate with our recruiters and hiring teams ensuring the selection process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities to include:
  • Scheduling all candidate phone screens and on site interviews
  • Arranging all candidate travel
  • Producing professional interview packets and communications
  • Processing candidate cards
  • Creating and maintaining compliant candidate job files
  • Initiating pre-employment process
  • Scheduling of new employee orientation sessions
  • Preparing materials for new employee orientation sessions
  • Supporting administration and logistics of college campus recruiting and intern program events
The successful candidate will demonstrate pride in ownership of volume scheduling and coordination that ensures the selection process runs smoothly.  The ability to maintain confidentiality is a must and working with a sense of urgency will be an expectation. The right candidate will be a motivated self-starter with an exceptionally high attention to detail and organization with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple demanding priorities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience supporting a team
  • Previous work experience with responsibility for scheduling using Microsoft Outlook
  • Previous work experience supporting selection/recruitment process activities
  • High School Education or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or higher (Human Resources or Business preferred)
  • Previous experience using an applicant tracking system
  • Previous experience using Taleo
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws
