Koch Fertilizer, LLC Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler that will be responsible for assembling and distributing weekly and daily maintenance schedules.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Review the weekly forecast and the associated job plans to match the maintenance activity needs with resource availability and equipment requirements
  • Identify the deadline dates for specialty services and equipment; contacts contractor services and confirm that required equipment and or services will be available for forecasted job date
  • Create Purchase Requisitions for contractor services, receive invoices for services
  • Allocate crafts to work identified in the Weekly and Daily Schedules
  • Identify additional resource needs based on work load and resource availability
  • Finalize and distributes the Weekly and Daily Schedules assuring 100% resource loading
  • Own and track schedule compliance and supplies data to necessary departments
  • Review and maintain the Waiting to be Scheduled status backlog
  • Computer skills in the area of Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo)
  • 5+ year’s relevant experience in a maintenance / operations capacity
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years’ work planning and /or scheduling experience 5+ years of maintenance / operations experience in the fertilizer industry
  • 2-year Associate’s Degree or Technical Trade School certificate
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to heights up to 100 feet for equipment inspection purposes.  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.  Must be available to work off hours as needed
